Liberty Animal Sanctuary is a vegan-run haven for nearly 200 animals who have been rescued either from suffering and neglect or from situations where they were no longer receiving the care they deserve.
Established in September 2019 in Horton, just outside Leek we home creatures of all shapes and sizes; from fur to feathers.
We are a dedicated team of volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate and where possible, rehome farm animals through our trusted sanctuary partners. We also provide temporary foster for those in urgent need: we aim to save as many lives as possible.
Outside of the daily care of our residents, we also transport animals using the Animal Liberation Truck (ALT), host open days at the sanctuary where we feed our guests delicious vegan dishes from The Liberty Food Van and help to provide an environment for children to further their learning in the great outdoors.
